Service Description

BrewTinker is a personal coffee brewing companion that helps you log brews, manage your bean library, connect compatible brewing devices, and continually improve your coffee craft.

Some features are optional and may require additional permissions or an account:

• Bluetooth device connections (optional): requires Bluetooth permission.
• Local notifications (optional): requires notification permission.
• Cloud sync (optional): requires sign-in; when enabled, your brewing data may be synced with your account for cross-device access.

User Accounts

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
• You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We will process deletion requests in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

If you choose not to sign in, you can still use BrewTinker in a fully local mode.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use BrewTinker only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not:

• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Use scraping, data-mining, or automated tools to extract content from the app.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and code within BrewTinker are owned by us or used under license. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the brew logs, notes, and data you create in BrewTinker, including any images you optionally attach to beans or records.

When you use cloud sync, you grant us a limited license solely to store and transmit the synced content in order to provide the service to you.

Disclaimer

BrewTinker is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that sync will always succeed. Brewing suggestions and recipes are for reference only.

Export features are provided for convenience. You are responsible for how exported files are stored, shared, or distributed.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app (including data loss).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we may notify you via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
